Late 19th-Century American Glass and Pewter Flask. Lid marked: "M.V. OLRY'S PATENT. SEPT. 25, 1866". Pewter base can be removed and used as a cup. The base of the glass is stamped " M.V. OLRY  PHILADA". M.V. Olvy of Philadelphia, PA patented the "Neck-Cap" design in 1866 which ensured a more tightly secured lid.

This flask is much larger than typical flasks of this make.
